Abstract:
“Article 11: Freedom of assembly and association” provides an outline of the Court's case-law pertaining to freedom of assembly, such as dispersal of assemblies or restrictions on unlawful conduct during demonstrations. The chapter further discusses specific guarantees related to the freedom of association, such as creation and dissolution of associations or the freedom not to dissociate. It finishes with a designated sub-chapter concerning the rights (and obligations) of trade unions.
