Chapter 3 in Principia Iuris, 2025, pp 43-66 from Edward Elgar Publishing

Abstract: The regulae in this chapter develop some institutional themes that were examined in the previous chapter. In particular, the emphasis is on legal procedure and on appeals. Continental Romano-canonical procedure is compared to common law procedure, together with the role of the parties, the judge and the advocates and lawyers.
