Abstract: Abstract: This chapter demonstrates the application of causal knowledge analytics using a database of publications included in the Management Information Systems Quarterly (MISQ) Curations. Each curation addresses a pivotal topic in the information systems discipline, comprising a collection of articles deemed representative of the respective theme. Utilizing a five-level analysis framework, the chapter reveals the insights gained from applying CKA to the curation database. A synthesis framework is provided to integrate the results. By examining causal models across diverse IS topics, this chapter illustrates the utility of CKA. It showcases how scholars can effectively leverage CKA to enhance scholarly insights and advance theoretical advancements.
