Abstract: This concluding chapter summarizes the main findings of this volume by highlighting four cross-cutting lessons. First, we succinctly lay out the value of our analytical framework and provide some illustrative insights into its application. Second, we remind readers of the individual hardships persons experiencing homelessness face within given institutional contexts, yet without portraying them as passive victims. Third, we shift our focus to the structural and spatial context, highlighting the deep disadvantages unhoused people are confronted with on a daily basis. Fourth, we reflect on the wide array of methods applied in this volume and their methodological implications. We close with a call to action, arguing that the knowledge produced by science can and should be used to help one of the most marginalized people in a world of plenty.
