Abstract: This study uses a multifaceted methodology to explore homelessness, combining participatory research methodology and situational analysis. Peer researchers with lived experience of homelessness were involved, with an emphasis on mutual learning and empowerment. This approach focuses on understanding the perspectives of street homeless people through in-depth qualitative data collection, using different types of interviews and ethical procedures adapted for the vulnerable population. This comprehensive, ethical, and context-sensitive approach enabled a nuanced examination of homeless persons’ experiences, prioritizing their knowledge and respecting their situation.
