Abstract:
In The New Global Political Economy, the authors Riccardo Fiorentini and Guido Montani attempt to explain international economics within a context of 'international integration' where modern nation-states' economies are heavily interconnected such that national economic policies have repercussions beyond national borders. As they review cases of successful and less successful international cooperation, the authors propose supranational organizations that would facilitate a worldwide sustainable and stable economic environment.
