Abstract: The role of natural gas in energy supply is increasing in the East Asia Summit (EAS) region where energy demand is steadily growing. The driving factor of this trend includes the effective use of domestic resources, diversification of energy sources, and reduction of environmental load. Meanwhile, at the same time, we see rising import dependency of natural gas supply in many member countries
