Abstract: In order to form an attractive business environment, it is crucial to take courses of action immediately after carefully observing the business environment and conducting a solid analysis. The main purpose of this research study is to indicate the key obstacles and their causes in conducting foreign trade in Mongolia, as well as to determine the courses of action in order to develop the sector. Within the framework of the goal of this research, the survey results have been grouped and analyzed in three groups: 1) within the territory of Mongolia; 2) within the territory of trade partner countries; and 3) difficulties that occur in the operation of international trading companies.
