Abstract:
The Bologna Process: What is its origin? What are the final objectives of this university reform? Who will gain and who will lose by it? You do not have to do sociological research to find out that outside the university world nobody knows anything about it because even inside that world, the Process is the great unknown. It is very negligent that the reformation of the university system is being carried out in such a suspect way, without counting on, nor informing the people most directly concerned in it. Negligent or Machiavellian, given that this European Higher Education Area was born as a new concept of university level education, understood not as a public service at the orders of knowledge and social needs, but rather as just one more piece for the market, put at the market's service and destined to make maximum optimization and allow the accumulation of large fortunes.
