Abstract: En el Estado de San Luis Potosí (México), el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo aún no esta regulado en el Código Familiar, por ello, en esta investigación se hace un análisis de esta situación y se propone reformar la normativa en mención con el fin de lograr que las personas -independiente de sus preferencias sexuales- tengan derecho a contraer nupcias y formar una familia de acuerdo a los tiempos actuales respetando su derecho a la igualdad contemplado en la CPEUM.
