Abstract: El 4 de diciembre, del 2008, la Universidad Autónoma Latinoamericana, le rindió un homenaje a su egresado, economista Óscar Tulio Lizcano González. Como se sabe, él estuvo secuestrado por las Farc, durante más de ocho años. El siguiente es el texto del discurso que él, a titulo de gratitud, pronunció en el mencionado homenaje, en el auditorio “Rafael Uribe Uribe”, de nuestra institución.
