Abstract:
In this document an evaluation of the macroeconomic performance of Mexico in the last six years is presented, the variables on the ones that the document is focused they are those of GDP, exchange rate, interest rates, external balance, public balance and inflation. The document besides studies the factors of risk, for the next change of president in this country in the 2006. It includes also a series of forecasts for the next fours years considering that not abrupt modifications in the national economic environment exist. Finally the document indicates what are the preliminary lines for the generation of a strategy of competitiveness systemic that conduct the country by the path of the development.
