Abstract:
This study analyses the reasons for low levels of trade, the nature of trade in this sector and the intra-industry trade between the countries. The study also throws light on the informal trade in textiles between the countries and views from industry stakeholders, thereby suggesting removal of the negative list by Pakistan and sensitive list by India that hinder bilateral trade.
