Abstract:
In spite of several programmes in the country to reduce undernutrition, India continues to have a large number malnourished women and children. In the coming Budget the government has to make some efforts so that the increased expenditure in these programmes reaches the beneficiaries. Efforts have to be done to reduce the micronutrient deficiency in India. The prices of food items, rich in proteins are spiralling have to be controlled to reach the poor households
