Abstract:
The question that is increasingly being posed is whether Kerala's education can continue to play a major role in the future without keeping up with the vast changes taking place in all disciplines. It must also keep abreast of the changes in the economy, both national and international. It looks as though the mammoth educational system has become very obsolete and inflexible and therefore is unable to perform in the changed context. [CSES Working Paper No.3].
