Abstract: The Jharkhand Youth Policy 2007 reiterates the commitment of the State of Jharkhand to promote holistic development of youth in the state in consonance with the National Youth Policy, 2003. The policy seeks especially to secure the rights of disadvantaged and marginalised youth. Thrust areas of the policy cover art and culture; sports; education; employment and livelihood; health; protection of youth; mission orientation; and improving youth-friendly services.
