Abstract: The document has been prepared with the basic surmise that Wildlife Management, Ecotourism and Animal Welfare are to be treated as a Priority Sector during the 12th Plan as the conservation of our natural wealth, biodiversity and ecology has tremendous economic consequences and its wellbeing is in the larger national interest as well as being in the interest of mankind.
