Abstract: The national budget is the primary tool for implementing the priorities and policies of the government as a whole. The 1390 budget maintains the Government’s major budgetary objective of allocating fiscal resources in accordance with the Afghanistan National Development Strategy (ANDS). This ensures resources are directed to those programs and sectors identified as priorities for economic and social development.
