Abstract: This publication attempts to study major concepts of WTO and present some perspectives on Nepal’s membership in this rule based global trading organization. The chapters presents an introduction with a short history of the rule based trading system as well as the organization structure of WTO. It aims to overview the major WTO agreements and mechanisms while the third chapter highlights some emerging issues in WTO.
