Abstract: The sociological science must be employed in the amelioration of society. The intellectual climate of a nation is a determinant feature for the success of sociology. Actually, there are areas in which the frame seems more favourable. The establishment of new electronic journals, regional and national associations and sociological societies reflects the expanding range of interests and professional specialization.
