Use and Impact of Library Resources at Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani: A Study

Abstract: This study examines the use and impact of library resources and services among postgraduate students, research scholars, faculty members, and technical staff of Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV), Parbhani. A sample of 150 respondents was selected using stratified random sampling. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data, which was analyzed using percentage analysis and mean score interpretation. The findings reveal that while users are aware of essential print and digital resources, access barriers such as limited digital literacy and slow internet speed affect the effective utilization of ICT-based services. Library resources significantly support academic learning, project work, and research enhancement. Suggestions include strengthening digital infrastructure, improving user orientation, and upgrading agriculture-specific collections.
