Abstract: Sustainable development pursues and tries to develop a stable theoretical decision making framework for any situation involving a human/environment report, either social economic or general environment. Although sustainable development was initially intended as a solution to the ecological crisis caused by intense industrial exploitation of resources and continuous degradation of the environment and seeks primarily to preserve environmental quality, today the concept expanded over the life quality in its complexity also in terms of social and economic aspect. The concern for justice and equity between countries, not only between generations is the current issue of sustainable development.
