Abstract: One of the main points of the Russian Transport Strategy is the concept of National Transport Corridors. They aim to turn the advantages of the country’s geopolitical location into a «reproductive resource» and to bring steady income from transit carriage. However, not all the regions may gain from such corridors passing through their territory. Apparently, «transport support» for the regional economy development may be also an urgent and important task. Nowadays the role of large companies in the socio-economic development of the region is growing, which means increasing «social responsibility of business». We need to identify the areas of long-term common interest of the population, of federal and regional government, companies and population. It will allow carrying out a «purposeoriented » policy towards individual companies to orientate them to concerted actions in terms of the region’s transport system formation
