Abstract:
Major achievements in basic research in the ield of regional economics by the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences are considered. Main trends of research are shown: interregional cross-sectoral interactions, territorial organization of production, reproduction process in the region, development of methodology of solving major economic problems in Siberia on the basis of economic-mathematical models and methods allowing making numerical experiments on real economic data
