Abstract:
This paper, being of a particularly polemic character and still relevant, presents an approach which is among the first ones in the world science to the problem of formation of inter-regional industrial complexes. The problems of “vertical” and “horizontal” combination, agglomeration of production and economic zoning, target-setting issues in the design and implementation of such large-scale investment projects as the Ural-Kuznetsk Industrial complex are studied
