The article studies the technological basis of the power industry in Russia’s northern regions, its structural and comparative analysis being made in the spatial and typological aspects. The characteristic features of the technological structure are presented as factors revealing substantial territorial differentiation in the price levels of the regional power supply and determining priorities for development
