Abstract:
The emergence of economic research in Kamchatka is shown: from expeditionary to systematic. The main work, typical for each stage of research, is given. Particular attention is paid to the contribution of the Kamchatka Laboratory of Economic Research to the development of scientific foundations for the rational use of natural resources and the comprehensive development of the productive forces of the Kamchatka region
