Abstract:
The potential cooperation among CIS countries in the political and economic spheres is analyzed. The relationship between Russia and the CIS states located in the European, Trans- Caucasian and Central-Asian regions is shown. It is noted that the post-Soviet space for Russia is an area of vital interest, and the interaction therein should be an absolute foreign policy priority. For the Western economies the post-Soviet space is a ground for the game against Russia
