Abstract:
The article reviews the issue of developing competitive funding for international fundamental research of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences by the example of a pilot joint projects competition in basic research by FEB RAS – CRDF for 2011–2012. The competition procedure, priority topics of the competition sections are determined. The process of formalizing the applications’ materials and their scientific expertise is considered. Based on the experience of RFBR and CRDF a questionnaire for peer review is formulated
