Abstract: The main bojective of this study is to investigate the impact of employee performance management system on business process improvement and to find out the importance of employee development through performance management system in order to achieve the superior business goal. This case study reviews the employee performance management system of the retail industry in the UK market through in-depth interview conducted from both managerial and non-managerial employees of the reatil shops.
