Abstract: Negotiations on renewed commitments under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change have drawn unprecedented attention to the role of avoided deforestation and sustainable forest in mitigating climate change. The goal of the book is to shed light on some of the major concerns and challenges related to this issue.
