Alianças estratégicas internacionais: formação - e estruturação em indústrias manufatureiras

Abstract:
Latin American manufacturing firms' internationaf strategy and management of their alliances with foreign companies are anafyzed with focus on: 1. impfementing a successfuf internationaf strategy; 2. understanding how Latin American firms manage their refationships with companies from foreign countries; 3. determining the success factors of these cross-nationaf business alliances. This research project integrated a mufti-country study sponsored by major universities in Canada, U.S., Brazil, Chile and Mexico, and firms from the three fatter countries. The findings will be presented in two articfes: the first will cover the creation and structure of strategicaf alliances, and the second, the performance and internationaf marketing strategies in partnerships.
