Abstract: L’article examine le management en général, et le coaching en particulier, à travers les philosophies de M. Foucault et de G. Agamben. Il met en évidence le biopouvoir managérial, à la fois fondé sur la discipline individuelle et la biopolitique collective. Il poursuit, suivant en cela la relecture agambienne de Foucault, dans une redéfinition du management en rapport avec la permanence de l’état d’exception propre à l’époque contemporaine. Il interroge enfin la notion de dispositif et s’appuie sur son archéologie afin de questionner le rôle de la gloire dans le management.
