Abstract:
Although challenges exist for the Big Bend region, bullish cattle prices, Mexico?s reforms, the energy boom in the Permian Basin and a stronger U.S. economy all bode well for the tricounty area. Furthermore, tourism and recreation provide the region a new avenue of growth.
