Abstract: The article is meant to mark the 80th anniversary of the Fadeev Yakutsk Economist Training Postsecondary School which is a branch of the Budget and Treasury Academy of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. The author dwells on the role a library plays in the teaching and learning process designed by a modern postsecondary school. She also gives a brief account of the Yakutsk School library history.
