Abstract: The question of why the Russian legal philosophy stands out is topical. The article author dwells on the history of the Russian law. In particular, he speaks about the way the Russian experts in legal science, first of all, N. Alekseev used the phenomenological method in their research. This is a method of research that helps the researchers lay bare the unknown relationships and paradigms that exist in a certain field (legal field included).
