Policy Reform Options for Australian Sole Parents
J Murray
Working Papers from New South Wales - School of Economics
Abstract:
While the link between the labour force status and welfare of Australian sole parents has been well documented, there is little empirical evidence on the responsiveness of this group to economic incentives. This paper uses an econometric modelling framework to predict the labour supply, welfare and fiscal impacts of reform measures which have been suggested in the policy literature.
