Abstract: Decisions in the area of corporate governance regulation in 2023 were related to the need to find a balance between the demand to ensure the efficient functioning of the financial market and increase the inflow of domestic investors, who require greater transparency and predictability, and the implementation of anti-sanctions measures, which implies, among other things, an increase in the level of transparency of public information about the activities of major Russian companies. The result was, on the one hand, the definition of benchmarks in the development of corporate governance for 2024-2026, and, on the other hand, the extension of sanctions- related measures in the area of corporate legislation for 2024. In connection with the sanctions, the ESG agenda has also undergone changes.
