THE IMPACT OF POLITICALY MOTIVATED TRADE SANCTIONS ON RUSSIA’S FOREIGN TRADE SECTOR

Abstract: The specifi c situation at the current stage of development in the sphere of Russia’s foreign trade (including exports) has been shaped by the infl uences of the following three key factors: low activity on world markets due to the continuing uncertainty in the global economy; stagnation in Russia’s national economy and its major sectors; and the introduction of political sanctions and restrictions in the sphere of trade and economic exchange.
