Abstract:
The main objective of this research is to adapt the Digital Sustainability in Organizations (DSS) scale, which was developed by Wut et al. (2021) and consists of 16 items and four dimensions, to Turkish and to conduct validity and reliability analyses of the scale. In the adaptation study, data were obtained from two separate participant groups. The first group comprises public employees (n=192), and the second group comprises private sector employees (n=172). Construct validity, convergent validity, and discriminant validity were evaluated within the scope of validity examination. As a result of these analyses, two items were removed from the scale, and the total 16-item structure was reduced to 14 items. In the reliability analysis, only the Cronbach Alpha coefficient was examined for the first group, and Cronbach Alpha (CA) and convergent reliability (CR) values were examined for the second group. The analyses showed that the scale was reliable in both groups. As a result of the analyses, it was determined that the Digital Sustainability in Organizations Scale with 14 items and four dimensions was a suitable and valid measurement tool for the Turkish business world.
