Abstract:
The distortion of market prices in infrastructure project evaluations is a concerning issue, as it can lead to incorrect decisions and, consequently, the waste of public resources. Although there has been considerable progress in the international literature on how to measure this problem, there is still a gap in terms of national research, especially in Latin America and , specifically, in Brazil . This work review s this literature, creating a foundation to identify advancements, relevant studies, and possible approaches for Brazil.
