Abstract:
The thematic of sustainable development is deploying in the contractual framework of the logistics service "downstream", and between the large-scale distributors and logistics service providers. This exploratory research, based on a case study, examines these contractual relations. The authors attempt to demonstrate that the "Sustainable Development and Environmental Impact" (DDEI) becomes a lever of embeddedness and decoupling through a proactive approach. These results show the interest of using the theory of decoupling and embeddedness. They question and justify the exchange conditions ensuring greater long-term stability of the relationships within the supply chain "downstream", between the large-scale distributors and logistics service providers.
