Abstract: A lot of questions remain about the network structures, and more specifically about the temporary networks created for a project, which is sometime recurrent. By the study of the case of a French music festival, the article highlights the mechanisms of this kind of organization, all of them relying on a cooperative logic. From an analytical framework developed around the concept of Pulsating Temporary Organization (PTO), four mechanisms are emphasized: Logistics coordination, Anticipation, Modular construction and capitalization of Experience (synthesized by the acronym LAME).
