Abstract: Throughout this book, our contributors have proposed several important concepts to make sense of the materiality and the material dynamics in organizations and organizing: standards and standardization processes (JoAnne Yates, Nadine Arnold), affordance (Emilie Bérard), iconography (Francois-Xavier de Vaujany and Emmanuelle Vaast), presentism and historical regimes (François Hartog, Nathalie Mitev), morphology (Caroline Scotto), material traces (Christine McLean, Jeremy Aroles, Zsuzsanna Vargha), reputation crisis (Hélène Lambrix), and time-and-history regimes (Peter Clark).
