Abstract:
In this study, the object of interests is the business ecosystem built by actors support to business creation. In this business ecosystem, we look at the introduction of a new entrant, the crowdfunding platforms. We wonder more particularly about the role and the place of these platforms in this business ecosystems and about the form of cooperation they could built with actors in place. We have conducted an exploratory study with actors support to creation in Touraine. Our results show that the crowdfunding is grounded on reflection of the interviewed actors. The connection between crowdfunding platforms and actors support to creation is based on win-win relationships that depend on the choice of business models of the platforms and the cooperation/competition relationships between actors support to creation. Our results show that the crowdfunding platforms modify the incumbent ecosystem and have consequences on the business models of involved actors.
