Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to search for factors which explain Cameroonian students' en-trepreneurial intentions. We combined two models: Shapero and Sokol's model (1982) and Ajzen's (1991) model of intention. The validation of this combined model on a sample of 545 Cameroonian students shows that the desire to act and the perceived feasibility are the main factors which determine students' entrepreneurial intentions. Meanwhile university context has a marginal effect; social norm and self concept have no effect on students' entrepreneurial intentions. Globally, the moderator effect of propensity to act is not verified.
