Abstract: The aim of this article is to analyze the students' perception about the skill set required by the accountant's Tunisian labor market, and compare them to the expectations of employers. The results show that employers tend to consider more the soft skills, especially those related to intellectual, interpersonal and personal skills. However, accounting students perceive that it is rather technical skills that determine success in the labor market.
