Abstract:
This research examines the different effects of the four dimensions of organizational justice on local government employees' sense of well-being and their intention to quit. The results of the structural equation modeling on a sample of 924 employees show that when they feel they are being treated in a fair and equitable way, they are more likely to show a better state of well-being at work. On the other hand, when they feel they are being treated unfairly, their intention to quit the local government is more palpable. The results also indicate that not all dimensions of organizational justice are associated with employees' sense of well-being and their intention to quit their job with the local government. When all the dimensions are taken into consideration, some forms of justice have a stronger explanatory effect than others.
