Abstract:
NGOs are the advocates of human development. They are there to inform and defend national and international democratic bodies, public goods, ecology, sustainable development, the health of peoples, respect for human rights, even if they do not defend the same interests, and exert an influence on national and international public authorities. They play an essential role in post-war management; they propose partial improvements to the economic, political and social systems in place. The humanitarian challenge for sustainable development in peace situations sums up their action. However, their actions are sometimes contested and questionable.
