Abstract: This article aims at clarifying standardization practices among winegrowers when it comes to reduce pesticides use. The standardization movement is analysed in three steps : the central role of cooperatives normalizing the ways of working, the continuities and ruptures illustrated by endogenous procedures to reduce pesticide use, and the appropriability limits of contemporary approaches supported by exogenous specifications. It concludes on the problems to extend standardizations, even endogenous, beyond pionneers teams.
